Joel Rowe, MD, is a Senior Advisor and Investigator at the HealthiER Institute.

Dr. Joel Rowe is an attending Emergency Medicine physician at Mount Sinai Health System. He joined the Mount Sinai faculty after completing residency training at the Mount Sinai Hospital in 2023. Dr. Rowe is the recipient of the Dr. John Conley Graduate Medical Education Bioethics Scholarship and serves on the Ethics Committees for both Mount Sinai Hospital and the Society for Academic Emergency Medicine. Dr. Rowe is passionate about advancing scholarship in emergency reproductive care, health systems ethics, and clinical education at both the graduate and undergraduate medical education levels. He has published work in such outlets as The Atlantic magazine and Academic Emergency Medicine and is a proud graduate of the Stony Brook University (Renaissance) School of Medicine as well as Fordham University at Lincoln Center prior to pursuing a career in medicine.
